Yosemite National Park is the third most visited national park in the United States. Along with its popularity, it is also one of the largest with a great area of 747,956 acres. Over 4 million people visits Yosemite Park annually. Tourists spend their time mostly in Yosemite Valley. Yosemite Valley is an area of 18 km square which is at most one percent of the park, but is the most attractive part. There are 160 rare plants with unique soils and rare geological formations. There are many bird, fish, and reptile and mammal species in the varied habitats of the Yosemite National Park. American Black Bear and deer population of the park is noteworthy.
